I was responsible for production as the producer of this video. I also did all the lighting work and assisted the cinematographer.

I was the cinematographer on this project. We worked with a Black Magic 6K and various prime lenses. I storyboarded this entire project and came up with the aspect ratio and color to match Techniscope, which the Good, Bad, and Ugly was filmed in. We pulled out all the tricks to make it as Western as possible. We did not have a steadycam, which is something that would have made our lives a bit easier as we had three people attempting to operate a camera we were holding for a complex, moving scene.

This was a project I did as a final for my degree, where I wrote scripts, storyboarded, filmed and edited all components of this four-video series in around two days. From research to filming overall, it could be done twice as quickly now that I have figured out all the problems, and at twice the quality. I also took high-resolution photography of a bunch of increasingly old objects which had none before. A sample of this photography is available to view further down this page.

I did the cinematography on these projects and worked with the ‘Coloration’ of the black and white scenes. I made the lighting diagrams and storyboarded these master shots. I thought the depth of these shots made them quite nice.

I was responsible for the lighting, the DIT, and the opening sequence. I also storyboarded the project. I edited the sequence as well. I also planned the effect shot and did the titling. We had some interesting characters on the shoot, but it turned out well overall.
