A Very Silly List

Does this actually mean anything?

What am I going for?

I want to turn this blog into a forest, with all its natural, earthy colors and bold, bright specks. I want to make this blog less cold and digital. I will double down on some hand-drawn styles that are a part of my blog. Something that represents my style which, while I would like to be seen as cool and sleek, my life certainly is not.

What is hidden behind this tab?

This means I am going to do Art and Writing, mostly.

I like drawing; I like writing, writing what? Well, very silly things. Choose your own adventure books, odd detective stories, or stories far away from the world’s worries. Something you can read and smile at the end with a warm feeling.

Heavy literature? No, not really. I want people to know that their worries can be solved. You can make friends; no matter the conflict, it can be resolved.

Look, I wear a cat sweater, watch Moomin Valley and Mushishi, and enjoy Studio Ghibli films. Point-and-click adventure games are my bread and butter.

I truly was never going to be a macho man.

I am a pessimest at heart. It led me not to do anything I enjoy and ignore art and writing because of the economy.

I want to be the person to see the silver lining before noticing the cloud.

Oddly enough, this blog’s progress has become a symbol of that.

My blog was originally a school assignment. When I was forced to put Journalism work, I did. I still have flashbacks of trying to get an interview with a biologist to talk about Zebra Mussels, the evasive species spreading through North America.

Then it was a way to get income to comfort my girlfriend; I was very in love with my girlfriend at the time.

In the future, it might be an income stream of sorts. Who knows? Now it is something that I can write about myself and the things I like.
