I truly don’t know the answer to this question. I suspect the answer will be different for everyone.

I went to a little church party, with less than a quarter of the people we were expecting.

It was as a very small party, the food potatoes.

After eating, some cards were played and conversation was had.

The subject often enough was making fun of me.

I wear mostly turtlenecks and get called Steve Jobs often enough.

Then comes jokes about many a thing, my eccentricities, and hobbies.

There was a loud yell of nerd when I started talking about interlaced video.

Then they started making fun of something about me not having friends and I just started laughing.

I sat there making opening after opening for jokes at my expense.

Yeah I did not get to talk about my hobbies or things I enjoy.

I did not really get to be me, but I laughed and laughed.

So yes I think I had a good night. I hope I won’t think any differently.

It would be a sad world if I didn’t smile even in unideal circumstances.
